Penarth Town Council recently asked us to create the official artwork for its 2016 Summer Festival programme. Fortunately, they loved what we came up with – and even now have the mugs for their tea and coffee (which they drink at their desks whilst working, of course).
Hopefully you loves our latest Penarth-loving creation too. The stunning montage design, featuring more than 30 Penarth landmarks (listed below) including Penarth Library, the Paget Rooms and Plassey Fish Bar, is now available to buy as a print and on mugs. You can see a larger version of it at the bottom of the page.
The mugs are available in two colourways (red or blue), while the 36cm x 36cm print is available professionally framed and local delivery is included in the price. Is this the perfect gift for the Penarthian who has everything? (And let's face it, some of them do.) |

*Postage explained
We send all items by First Class Royal Fail – sorry, Mail – and to send a mug by this method costs us £3.35, and that's before you take the packaging into consideration. So £2.60 all in is a bargain, the likes of which haven't been seen since Peter in Hamptons priced up their Ming vases with a pence symbol instead of pounds.
If our postage calculation goes wrong (and it's been known to happen, admittedly), we usually manually refund you as soon as we spot the error, but if you have any queries about this topic or any other please email. |

Each Penarth landmark is represented in crisp, easy-to-recognise accuracy. Have you spotted them all? Here's a list: clifftop channel view of Flat Holm and Steep Holm; the Kymin; the old baths on the seafront; Penarth pier and pavilion; pitch and putt; Plassey Street's Fish Bar; the famous roundabout and clocktower; the Esplanade; Windsor Arcade, the Victorian font on Church Place South; the wooden eagle; nearby Cosmeston Lakes; Dingle Road station; nothing says Penarth like those steep paths down to the sea front; Penarth Library (and its motto); Dock Street; the Penarth coat of arms; The Paget Rooms; Turner House Gallery; Cliff Road; palm trees of the Italian Gardens; a viewing telescope; the hotel stabling building; Cornerswell Road; Penarth Station; Alexandra Park; RNLI station; Windsor Fruit Stores (representing all the great independent shops in Penarth!); the new blue plaque for J Saunders Lewis, founder of Plaid Cymru; and St Augustine's Church. (Phew!) Hang on, we forgot ice cream! That's on there too. After all, how can you visit Penarth front and not indulge?
